The working principle of the Pipe Forming Machine mainly revolves around core processes such as material shaping, welding, and sizing. The specific process flow is as follows:
Material shaping
Steel strips or plates are fed into the forming section through the loading frame and gradually formed into tubes by multiple sets of rollers. The rolling process is divided into rough rolling and fine rolling. Rough rolling causes curvature on both sides of the material, while fine rolling further compresses and reserves welding gaps. Some models adopt a dual-action design, ensuring feeding stability through hydraulic cylinders and disc brakes.
Welding process
The formed tubes are then subjected to closed welding using high-frequency induction welding or laser welding. The weld tracking system uses cameras to monitor the welding path in real time and automatically adjusts the position of the welding gun to ensure weld quality. After welding, the weld slag must be removed and the surface polished to ensure a smooth surface.
Sizing and fine processing
The welded tubes enter the sizing section, where the outer diameter and roundness are corrected by molds. Some models are equipped with online annealing devices to enhance material performance. Finally, the tubes are segmented by straightening machines and cutting machines to complete the production process.

Automation control: Utilizes industrial-grade motors, turbine boxes, and PLC control systems to achieve high-precision adjustment.
Multi-specification compatibility: By replacing molds or adjusting roller spacing, different diameters (such as 4-320mm) and shapes (round tubes, square tubes) of tubes can be produced.
Quality inspection: Some high-end models integrate non-destructive measurement and high-pressure spray inspection to ensure that the finished products have no pinholes and uniform weld points.
