Operation Procedure of Steel Pipe and Welded Pipe Machine

The steel pipe and welded Pipe Machine uses high-frequency current to heat the metal edges to achieve fusion. The welding speed can reach 20-100 meters per minute and is suitable for various materials such as iron pipes and galvanized pipes. The weld seam is smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a small heat affected zone, avoiding the slag problem of traditional arc welding.
The dual-motor system supports a maximum production speed of up to 90 meters per minute and can quickly adjust the pipe diameter and parameters.
The modular design supports various pipe types (round pipes, square pipes, etc.), and can expand application scenarios by replacing molds.
Some models are equipped with automatic tracking functions, suitable for field operations or long-distance pipeline welding.
The sensors monitor temperature, pressure, etc. parameters in real time and automatically adjust the equipment status.
The variable-frequency motor and solid-state power supply reduce energy consumption by more than 30%, and support high-strength steel or thin-walled welding.
I. Operating Procedure
Equipment Preparation
Check if the power cord and grounding wire are in good condition, ensuring the insulation resistance is ≥ 25 megohms.
Put on protective equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.), clean the surface of the welding machine and the radiator of dust.
Welding Operation
High-frequency welding: Align the ends of the iron pipe, clamp the equipment, and start the high-frequency power supply. The smokeless welding is completed within 1 minute, and the weld seam is smooth and shiny.
Two-pass welding operation: Install the welding wire (core or solid), adjust the current and voltage, and weld materials such as square pipes and galvanized pipes without an air source.
Parameter Adjustment
Adjust the current, voltage, and welding speed according to the pipe thickness.
Use a sawtooth or crescent-shaped welding technique, lower the arc to avoid weld leakage.
II. Maintenance Points
Daily Maintenance
Clean: Clean the internal dust of the welding machine weekly, and focus on checking the ventilation holes and radiator.
Lubrication: Add high-temperature lubricating grease to the transmission gears monthly, and apply molybdenum disulfide lubricant quarterly.
Check Components: The electrode wear should be ≤ 20% of the diameter, and the groove wear of the wire feeding wheel should be ≤ 0.5mm for replacement.
Fault Troubleshooting
Pipe explosion fault: Replace the damaged capacitors, IGBT tubes, and drive boards, and test the no-load voltage (normal value 81.5V) after repair.
No welding output: Check the rectifier bridge, main control board, and quick connectors for looseness.
Long-term Maintenance
Before galvanizing, perform acid washing pretreatment (degreasing, acid washing, water washing) to prevent the welded pipe from rusting. The storage environment should be dry (with humidity no more than 90%) and kept away from acidic and alkaline substances.
