1. Clarify production requirements
Pipe specifications: Select the model based on common pipe diameters and wall thicknesses. For construction scaffolding, the commonly used Φ48mm model is adopted. For oil pipelines, models with a diameter of Φ219mm or above are required.
Material type: For carbon steel, ERW high-frequency welding machines are selected. For stainless steel, TIG/MIG welding modules need to be equipped.
Output requirements: Small workshops choose manual models with a production speed of 120 meters per minute. Large-scale production requires fully automatic production lines with a production speed of 300 meters per minute.
2. Acceptance standards
Machine test requirements: Continuous welding for 100 meters without arc interruption;
Weld seams pass X-ray flaw detection;
Energy consumption test: The energy consumption of each ton of pipe ≤ 80 kWh;
3. Maintenance cost calculation
Material cost: The monthly average consumption of electrode heads is 2-3;
Annual inspection cost: Approximately 3%-5% of the equipment value;
