When choosing carbon steel Pipe Manufacturing Machines, the following aspects should be given priority attention:
1. Equipment qualification verification
Manufacturing license verification: It is necessary to confirm that the equipment manufacturer has a special equipment production license (TS certification) to avoid purchasing "three-no" products from unqualified manufacturers.
Compliance of factory documents: Complete sets of random documents such as design files, product quality certificates, installation instructions, and supervision inspection certificates must be provided.
2. Technical parameter matching
Process compatibility: Select the corresponding manufacturing machine based on the type of carbon steel pipe (such as seamless pipe, welded pipe), for example, for cold rolling/cold drawing processes, the equipment accuracy must be within ±0.1mm.
Core performance indicators: The mold material must be wear-resistant (such as hard alloy); the forming speed and pipe diameter range must match production requirements; the control system must support real-time monitoring of wall thickness uniformity.
We need to comprehensively assess the quality of carbon steel pipe manufacturing machines from multiple dimensions. The following are the key inspection points and methods:
1. Core equipment performance inspection
Processing accuracy verification: The measured outer diameter tolerance of the processed pipe should be ≤ ±0.1mm, the wall thickness uniformity deviation should be < 5%, and multi-point detection using laser diameter measuring instruments and ultrasonic thickness measuring instruments is conducted. Working stability test: Continuous operation for 8 hours monitoring: The spindle temperature rise should be ≤ 45℃, the vibration amplitude should be < 0.02mm, and the noise should be ≤ 75dB(A).
2. Quality assessment of key components
Mold system evaluation: Hard alloy molds must pass Rockwell hardness testing (≥ HRC60); the surface roughness of the forming rollers should be ≤ 0.4μm; transmission system inspection: The noise of the gearbox under no-load condition should be ≤ 65d, the error of chain/belt tensioning should be ±1mm.
3. Safety and compliance checks
Integrity of protective devices: The response time of the emergency stop button should be < 0.5 seconds, and the photoelectric protection device should cover the dangerous area; electrical safety test: Insulation resistance should be ≥ 1MΩ, grounding resistance should be < 0.1Ω.
4. Reverse verification of pipe product quality
Surface defect detection: Visual inspection for folds, cracks, and rough surfaces. Mechanical performance test: Sampling for tensile tests (yield strength ≥ 245MPa), compression tests to D = 2a without cracks.
